Famous Renaissance Figures

Your page is the page that you are taken to when you click on the button (of your renaissance figure's name) belonging to your group.

Here are the steps to editing your page:

1. Log into wix.com using the account username and password cited on D2L.

2. You should see a website box titled "renaissance." Click the "edit" box near it.

3. Click the scroll on the top black bar near "Pages:" Click on the name of your renaissance figure. (You can also click the page icon on the left toolbar and click the name of your renaissance figure there).

4. Click "add" and edit/input away! Feel free to customize, but DO NOT mess with other's pages. Please do not use several pages (or buttons leading to other pages), because you can make the length of your page as long as you want, so there is no need for several pages. This causes more confusion.

Here are the steps:

1. Log into wix.com using the account username and password cited on D2L.

2. There should be a box with the website title "Renaissance." Click the "edit: button near that.

3. Click on the scroll on the top black bar. It is a greyish-black box with a right arrow pointing downwards. it is located ner the Wix logo and mobile icon, near "Page:" There should be a list of renaissance names. Click the person you are doing.

4. Once you click on the page/tab corresponding to your designated slot, you are ready to begin! Input/edit/personalize! Just click the plus sign icon ("add") on your left and create your one of a kind page!

On your page, simply click on the plus icon located in the toolbar on your left. This is the "add" button. Along with this, there are many other tools on the toolbar to your left that you can experiment and play around with. In the "add" section, you can use the pictures as a guide to what you can

add.

Video: Make sure your video has a url in able to upload it to your page.

Media: recordings, music, video and so forth

Images: insert pictures

Text: Insert text, your document, report, and articles!

Shop: This is not necessary. You do not need  a shop for you page.

Buttons: Not necessary. the page will adapt to your length, so you can make the page as long as you need it to be. Several pages are not required as it may cause confusion fo other students.

You can also play around with the layout of your, and ONLY YOUR page if desired. But be careful, because it is hard to recover anything that was mistreated.

Note: Do not fiddle with anything but your page, because everything else is of other's responsibility and hard work, so it would be unpleasant to stumble upon things that werent seen on people's pages, and things that were definitely not put their by the owner of the pages.
